Figure drawing class for anyone interested in drawing the human form, this class offers an overview of the process of drawing from live models with an emphasis on the solid construction and design of the human figure. 

Open to all levels –beginner through advanced

Topics will include:

·         Week 1: Gesture, Sight Measuring, Angles, Proportion

·         Week 2: Construction, Simplifying Anatomy

·         Week 3: Value Pattern, Light and Shadow

·         Week 4: Composition, Refinement

Instructor:

Thomas Starnes has over 15 years experience in film and television animation, withc screen credits including feature films for Walt Disney Feature Animation, Dreamworks SKG, Universal Studios, and 20^th Century Fox. He currently teaches at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco as an online instructor for the Foundations and Illustration Departments.

 4-week pqck: $170 (includes model fee)
