                            AT THE NEW PATRIS STUDIO

David Lobenberg, art professor at Sacramento City College, respected and popular workshop instructor, will be conducting a watercolor workshop from

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Sept. 29 at the new Patris Studio in the Arts Triangle District in Oak Park, Sacramento. This workshop is suitable for beginner to more advanced painters.

David’s popular step-by-step painting method leaves nobody behind and allows everyone to closely observe his painting process and ask questions. A contour drawing of the above scene will be handed out to each participant so that it can be to be traced onto a half sheet of 140lb. cold press watercolor paper before the step-by-step painting process begins. This lovely fall river scene will be split between neutral Payne’s Grey for the rocks and shoreline and vibrant fall colors for the reflections in the river.

September 29 at the Patris Studio (3460 2^nd Ave. - corner of 35^th street and 2^nd Ave., Sacramento 95817 ). Free street parking.  Starts 10 A.M. Ends 2 P.M.

Luncheon at the Gallery

Patris Studio and the Oak Park Business Association partnered to host a luncheon after the ground breaking ceremony held on 35th Street Tuesday to launch the new Triangle Project being built around the corner from the studio and gallery.

2nd Saturday Art in Action and Art Reception!

Stop by the studio and gallery for September's 2nd Saturday.  We open at 2 pm and close at 10 pm.

Our new show "Art Radiance" will open, and features a variety of artwork from top artists in the area. "Beautiful original artwork you can afford."

Every 2nd Saturday from 3 pm - 6 pm,  you can bring your art supplies and work from a live model.  Painting, drawing, sculpting--whatever your art heart desires.  And best of all--it's FREE!!!

Thanks to our partnership with Sacramento Metropolitan Art Commission, we can offer our artist community a complimentary long pose session.  Donations are accepted, not required, but help fund the continuation of the "Make Art" program.

The Art Reception starts after 6 pm: live music, food, beverages, great art energy, great artwork awaiting you.
