Announcing: Summer Art Classes for young people!

Fantasy Character Design

Summer Art Workshop

for Young People

Learn to conceptualize, design, and illustrate your own imaginative characters!

Students will engage in lectures and learn what makes a compelling character. They will complete assignments that will further develop their concept art abilities.
Limited seating, 20 spots available.

Thursdays, June 28th - July 19th, 2018

10 am - 11 am

Supplies
  •  Graphite Pencil, or other drawing medium
  • Eraser (Optional)
  • Colored pencils, markers, paint, or other coloring medium
Students will provide their own supplies (The focus of this course is character design, and not the medium, so any drawing and color materials will do). If you have a portable device, and know how to use it, digital medium is fine as well.

Week 1
Character shape design and research
Week 2
Character gestures, and head studies
Week 3
Details, and pulling it all together
Week 4
Glamour shot review and critique
