Weekend In-Studio Art Classes: 

Intro to Oil/Acrylic Painting Classes with Patris

Limited to 6 students per class session 

We will use social distancing in our spacious studio and each person should bring their own mask to wear. as well as extra hand sanitizer if desired.

$40 per class session and includes all materials to use or bring your own personal materials if desired.

These beginning level painting classes will introduce students to the painting process, palette set up,
handling brushes, and many other aspects associated with the painting process.   By breaking 
down the process into different steps, participants can gain a new understanding of painting skills and apporaches.  Each session is a self contained lesson and includes instructor demos, individualized instruction and guided practice.

All materials provided or if you have  materials you want to explore and experiment with,
please bring them to class with you.

Classes are individually tailored to each student.
Students can choose to work on: 
  • basic skill building exercises to gain proficiency in oils or acrylic paint
  • work from direct observation with a simple still life set up
  • bring in a photo that they would like to paint
  • bring in a painting that they would like help with to finish

Portrait Drawing on Toned paper--
This class will be offered in person at studio and ONLINE.

Class fee will include these materials:  include toned paper such as Canson Ingres #55 Steel Gray or Strathmore Series 400 Toned Gray tablet, charcoal pencil, white chalk or white charcoal. 



Please note: no refunds issued for non-attendance, but tuition may be applied as a credit toward other Patris' classes at the studio within 6 months of first portrait class date.
