Time to hang some new work!

These two pieces were recently displayed in Moscow and are now hanging in the Patris Gallery.  They are the work of a prominent Russian artist who created a body of work that portraying life in Siberia prior to the Revolution.  Fascinating historical pieces depicting the beauty, dignity and grace of the Siberian culture and landscape.

Pop Up Friday tomorrow

During POP UP Fridays you can:

1. Bring an art project to work on between 1 and 6 pm

 

2. Set up a still life to paint or draw.

 

3. Work from a live model between 1pm - 4pm.

 

We'll have a live model from 1pm - 4 pm and do "Situational Gesture Paintings/drawings where the model will change poses, outfits, and setting 3 times during our session. Great for quick studies and gestural painting. (please note there is an additional $5 model fee for those joining in the model session.

Artist Dinner this Saturday--come join us!

Hang out with cool and creative people, have some food and beverage, talk about art and have fun! 6:30 pm onward.

Creativity abounds at Patris Studio

  Even the young ones can make art in our studio.  A beautiful time of art, music, and love!
