AT THE NEW PATRIS STUDIO
David
Lobenberg, art professor at Sacramento City College, respected and popular
workshop instructor, will be conducting a watercolor workshop from
10 a.m.
to 2 p.m. this Sept. 29 at the new Patris Studio in the Arts Triangle District
in Oak Park, Sacramento. This workshop is suitable for beginner to more
advanced painters.
David’s
popular step-by-step painting method leaves nobody behind and allows everyone
to closely observe his painting process and ask questions. A contour drawing of
the above scene will be handed out to each participant so that it can be to be
traced onto a half sheet of 140lb. cold press watercolor paper before the
step-by-step painting process begins. This lovely fall river scene will be
split between neutral Payne’s Grey for the rocks and shoreline and vibrant fall
colors for the reflections in the river.
