| These two pieces were recently displayed in Moscow and are now hanging in the Patris Gallery. They are the work of a prominent Russian artist who created a body of work that portraying life in Siberia prior to the Revolution. Fascinating historical pieces depicting the beauty, dignity and grace of the Siberian culture and landscape. |

During POP UP Fridays you can:
1. Bring an art project to work on between 1 and 6 pm
2. Set up a still life to paint or draw.
3. Work from a live model between 1pm - 4pm.
We'll have a live
model from 1pm - 4 pm and do "Situational Gesture Paintings/drawings
where the model will change poses, outfits, and setting 3 times during
our session. Great for quick studies and gestural painting. (please note there is an additional $5 model fee for those joining in the model session.

| Another great POP UP Friday. Working big and working quickly allowed us to free ourselves from our inner critic and just create and express. We did 4 poses with our lovely model during the 3 hour session. So much fun!!!! Next POP UP is Oct. 13. Next POP UP after that will be in November and we decided to do 3-4 poses during these sessions because it's so much fun. |
