This workshop for all skill levels is an
introduction to plein air
painting with oils. The first day will take place indoors. I will go
through the materials to be used when painting outdoors followed by a
demonstration illustrating the different steps and aspects leading to a
successful painting: composition, simplification, values, edges, light and
color. The following day will take place outdoors. I will start with another
demonstration and then you will be able to apply what you learned in a "plein
air " environment.
