Announcing: Craig Nelson Clothed Figurative Workshop

Craig Nelson is coming to Sacramento

October 21 and 22, 2023!!!

Join internationally known artist and teacher Craig Nelson for a two-day clothed figurative painting workshop at Patris Studio in Sacramento.  We will be painting from a live model each day.


Painters of all levels are welcome and may choose to work in oils, acrylics, watercolor, gouache, or pastel.  Craig will work with you individually based upon your ability.  Concentration will be on drawing, value, color and technique.  

Demonstrations, individual critiques and paint alongs will be provided.

Time: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm 


Tuition: $385 and includes all model fees

($200 deposit holds your spot 

and balance can be paid at time of workshop)

David Lobenberg "Koi Joy" Watercolor Workshop

 












Absolutely no drawing experience necessary in David Lobenberg’s Watercolor workshop.

The refreshing colors of this beautiful Koi image sets the stage

for a very fun 2-day workshop. 


David uses a reference photo and tracing technique that’s super simple to execute.

The creativity and painting fun begins during the painting process! 


Through his step-by-step demonstrations and question-and-answer sessions,

David leads artists down a path of expressive, energetic and evocative

watercolor painting.


Supply list and Koi template will be sent upon registration.

The Hidden Heroes of Aerospace Mural Unveiling

 We invite you to the Aerospace Museum of California for a historic and special event on Thursday, June 15 from 2-4 pm.


Join us for the unveiling
of a 56' mural showcasing 2,000 years of
aerospace history,
featuring 51 inspiring figures
created by Patris and the mural team.

This project has been in the works for over 3 years, and we are excited to bring this special exhibit to the Sacramento region.

I did countless hours of research to create genuine and authentic designs for the mural.

At the Areospace Museum, myself and the team evaluate the progress of all 28 panels.

And finally!!! After many months of interesting challenges and refinements, the 56 foot mural is finally exhibited at the beautiful Aerospace Museum of California, a Smithsonian affiliate in the Sacramento area
